This page illustrates my graduate and post-graduate education. For details on training after my MBA, please call or send me an email.

After a brief stint at UCLA, I entered San Jose State University in 1977.

Being a strong believer that communication, both written and oral are critical skills, I enrolled in the University's English program. Yet, my goal was to enter the business world. To that end, I also enrolled in the Business school.

Fast-tracking through undergraduate studies, I finished up in early 1980 with Bachelors in English, Magna Cum Laude, a minor in Business and a GPA of 3.9. While at San Jose State, I was a member of a business and honor fraternity as well as the only student representative to the Dean of Humanities leadership council.

That autumn, I started the MBA program at Oregon State University. After the first quarter, I was elected President of the Graduate Business Students, and office I held through the rest of my time at OSU. I completed the MBA program in August 1981 with concentrations in Marketing and Finance and a GPA of 3.9.
Recently, I felt that I needed a refresher in marketing. The world has changed significantly since 1980 and I wanted to tune my skills. The University of Washington offers a great yearlong program in Integrated Marketing Communications that I completed in June 2002.
